The Facts on the Plan
The plan proposes 4,000 homes on 80 acres — twice the size of the city of Villa Park. The development will add 20,000 new car trips per day in and out of Fairview, with just two exits — both onto Harbor Blvd. Costa Mesa fire and police have warned the plan may lead to decreased emergency response times and reduced coverage. 10,000 new residents would require 42 acres of new park space. The city's plan delivers just 14.
